Three Ways That You Can Make A Real Difference

‘You’re significant, you’re meaningful, you matter, and you can make a difference.’ Carlos Santana

Never underestimate the power of being you. You are someone
of incredible value.
You see things that others fail to see. You understand things that others fail to comprehend. You
have a view of the world that is visible only to you. You have a voice that speaks truths and asks
questions that arouse discussion that leads to the attainment of
greater knowledge.

You are of incredible value – and here are just three things you
need to know that are the currency that adds up to such a precious life.

1. Know That You’re Significant -

You are not irrelevant. You are not irrational. You are not insignificant. You were born with a mission. And it is your
commission to discover that mission and to fulfill that mission. You were never formed to simply take up space and suck up the
oxygen that could have been used by someone else with
greater talent than yourself. Who said anything about talent? If you look at others and compare
yourself with those around you, you will always come up short.
You are significant. Your actions are of vital significance. Your words are of essential significance. You being you is
significant. You are significant and without you bringing that significance to bear on our world
we would be left holding insignificance in our hands. Our
lives are transformed
significantly by those who accept and embrace their significance and believe and act as a
significant one.

2. Know That You’re Meaningful -
To be meaningful is to have a meaning or a purpose. It is to live
a meaningful life. For a life lived with purpose will be lived on purpose. It has direction. It has
focus. It has attached to it actionable steps that will lead towards an end, a dream, or a
goal. It does not meander aimlessly. It does not wake up in
wonder – wondering what to do next. It is a life lived under the
direction of a compass that guides its path – no matter the terrain, no matter the weather, no matter the impossibilities of
the forces that resist its progress forward.
A meaningful life pursues purpose with every footstep taken, every word uttered, every plan made and every detour explored. For each meaningful
thought is another brick added to the foundations of a life
destined to be the sound architectural construction that it
was destined to become.

3. Know That You Matter -
To be needed is one of the most powerful concepts to drive away self-centerdness. And to know that your contribution, your
involvement, your leadership and
your being is of vital importance, drives deep the pylons of ‘you can make a real difference’ into
the fiber of your being.
Scientifically, matter is what makes our world a reality.
Spiritually, matter is the unseen part of you that impacts the
physical world that we live in.

For centuries mankind has debated as to the consistency of matter – but all arguments aside – no matter what others think or
say – you matter – and it is because of that undeniable fact
that you can make a real difference to your life, your families lives and to the world
that benefits greatly from your presence in it.

You, yes you, can make a real difference. So go and make a difference.

And while we’re discussing this here, how do you think you can make a difference today?

Bible Verse 4

“Restore to me the joy of your salvation and
grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me”

Psalm 51:12 NIV

Don't Quit

When things go wrong, As they sometimes will;
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill, When the funds are low & the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down
a bit-
Rest if you must, but DON'T YOU QUIT.

Life is queer with its twists & turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns.
And many a fellow turns about, when he might have won had he stuck it out.
DON'T GIVE UP though the pace seems slow-
You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than it seems to a faint & faltering man; Often the struggler has given up
when he might have captured the victor's cup; And he learned too late when the
night came down
How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out-
The silver tint of the clouds doubt And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit. It's when things seem worst that
YOU MUSTN'T QUIT.

NEVER YOU QUIT.

Three Great Essentials to Happiness

‘The great essentials to happiness in this life are something to do, something to
love, and something to hope for’ by Joseph Addison

Everywhere around me, I see people desperately searching for happiness.
They seek it in relationships and
I have watched people appear happy in their relationship,
whether married or unmarried and yet the very next minute they
separate and seek happiness with yet another partner.
I have seen it as people fill their lives with cars, mansions,
overseas holidays, money and the perfect job – and yet after
they have experienced some or all of the above they are still not happy.

What are the essentials to happiness?

Let’s explore them together.

"For what is life if you cannot live each day in a state of happiness?"

1. Something To Do -
To have something to do is to live a life brimming with purpose.
It has been my personal experience that when I wake up
each morning with a clear plan of what I want to achieve that
day, that I find myself in a state of happiness.
This is a direct result of a decision that I
have made to create a blog in motivational, inspirational and
personal development of people.
So with that ‘to do’ list in my heart and my mind, I find myself
bounding out of bed each morning, full of energy, exploding with purpose to make
it happen – and I am happy.

2. Something To Love - For it is the people whom I love and who love me for who I am,
that make all the difference to my life.
At the same time I have learnt to love what I do and to do what I love. This has been a process of
discovery throughout the years – a pursuit of my passion – but
once discovered it, I embraced it with both hands. I pursue the outworking of my
passion daily. It is where I spend the majority of my energies. I am
fulfilled applying my strengths in that area of endeavor and
therein work is not work. Work to me, even hard work, is pure joy – fulfilled happiness
exemplified.

3. Something To Hope For - The dream has always drawn me.
I have had many dreams. One was to impact unto the lives of my fellow humans.
I continue to dream, for these are the things that I hope for.
And while ever there is hope there is life.
Happiness resides when you live for a purpose greater than
yourself and you live on purpose.
I always dreamt that I would influence people long before I had ever heard of a blog.

So if you wish to live a happy and fulfilled life, follow these three steps:

1. Find something to do – something aligned to your
strengths and passion.

2. Find something to love and in your search find someone to love.

3. And lastly find something to hope for, by identifying
your personal dreams, and pursue them.

And here’s a question for you: What is your strength and how are you making it stronger?

To be truly happy is to love who you are, what you do, and those whom you do it for.

I do hope you have been able to identify the essential points of happiness.

Always know that when there is life, there is hope.

Learn to be Positive

"Henceforth I ask not good-fortune, I myself am good-fortune" by Walt Whitman...

I’m a pretty positive person, I consider it one of the keys to the
modest success I’ve had in creating new habits and achieving things.

Positive thinking, as little as it seems, has changed my life.
I’m not going to force it on you, but if you’re interested, here’s
the condensed guide to changing your own life:
1. Realize it’s possible, instead of telling yourself why you can’t.
2. Become aware of what you say to yourself.
3. Squash negative thoughts like a bug and replace them with positive thoughts.
4. Love what you have already.
5. Be grateful for your life, your gifts and that of other people everyday.
6. Focus on what you have and not on what you don't have.
7. Don’t compare yourself to others. But be inspired by them.
8. Accept criticism with grace. But ignore the naysayers or unconcerned people.
9. See bad things as a blessing in disguise.
10. See failure as a stepping stone to
success.
11. Surround yourself by those who are positive.
12. Complain less and smile more.
13. Imagine that you’re already positive. Then become that person in your
next act.
Focus on the last guide first and you’ll have a much easier time with any other.

I believe that with this little steps, you can achieve your goal and aim.

"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort" by Herm Albright....

How to deal with Anger by been Patient

There are moments when other people just set you off, and you lose your patience.
It has lead to the downfall of many of us — coworkers, friends, children, spouses, others — they can make you angry.
And it can ruin your day. You clench your jaw, you replay
imaginary arguments in your head or worse, you snap. And
then you feel like crap.

How can we find the patience?
I will admit that I’m no saint. Just like everyone else, I get annoyed and I will say things in a less- than-kind tone.
Here’s what helps me:
First, I learn to be aware of the emotions that rush up from nowhere.
I learn to accept those emotions as perfectly fine.
And I watch them, but don’t act. It’s OK to be mad, but breathe. Talk to the other person, after you’ve calmed
down, about the problem. And then I breathe.
I remind my childlike emotions that: other people are different, and that’s good. When people live and work
together, there will be friction and that is a part of the mix of
humanity.
I remind myself that: life is too short to
waste my days in irritation and anger. I don’t let other people’s problems become my own.
I then give thanks. Gratitude solves all problems. I am grateful for having this friend or
stranger, in my life, and I’m grateful for the chance to even
be here and for the incredible life I have.
I talk to the other person, when
I’ve calmed down, with compassion. I respond with love.
It often will melt the other person’s anger and things will go better.
Patience isn’t an easy thing, but the alternative is much worse.
Love will triumph if you let it...

I hope this few points help you in controlling your anger...
